It's the experience that makes it a +1 or -1 not the ending. Usually the two will align, meaning there will be a good ending when there is a +1 but clearly this is not always the case. However, there are many endings that don't align with the experience when there is a -1.Quite an interesting contrast between this post and the previous one, even though the conclusion is the same to me. Farrel gave +1 because Vegas was engaged and he felt that she enjoyed being with him even though he did not "finish". On the other hand, Tango gave -1 because he felt Evangeline wanted to be elsewhere even though he "finished".
Too bad about Evangeline though. She has a very inviting look about her
