my favourite starting word hit 4/5 but it took 4 more guesses to get it. Tried the obvious ones first.

Holy smokes I don't think I've ever seen that before. At least from the first guess.

My go to start word is steal, and I tried steam,steak, and stear and when they were wrong stead was my only other choice I could think of.
