What was peculiar about the photo of the Rolling Stones on the record jacket of their 1966 single "Have You Seen Your Mother Baby, Standing in the Shadow"?

I can't determine if the Monkees were ever on Ed Sullivan, seems strange if they weren't.
I would guess not as they were actually an "invented" band for the purpose of their TV show (though they did end up touring later). The show aired on a competing network, I believe, so no Ed Sullivan time for them.

Eric Clapton got in for his work with the Yardbirds, Cream and solo. He was barely in the Yardbirds, just for their first hit.

I thought Neil Young would fit this as well with the Buffalo Springfield, CSNY and solo but Crosby, Stills & Nash made it in without him.

What is the connection between Doris Day and Charles Manson?
Doris Day's son Terry Melcher previously lived in the house where the slayings took place. He was probably the intended victim because he was a record producer that rejected Manson.

What is unique to this pistol?

FYI - The pic is embedded in a pic with lines of digital data criss-crossing the image to block Tin Eye.

This song sung on Monty Python with words changed was originally intened for what audience?
No guesses.

Originally, the Monty Python Mountie song was a childrens song ( like, Old Mcdonald had a farm ) The words were changed for the comedy routine on Monty Python. Originally the words were He is a little cat, and he is OK, he skips and jumps and plays all day...................next corus is little dog, little bird, ect ect.

^^^^^THX 138, a legal plate that alludes to Lucas's first film as a student at USC, "THX 1138".
Lucas has registered both plates in all jurisdictions in North America. I tried to get it years ago and found they belonged to a law firm in Toronto.

yup..Brian Jones looks moderately attractive as a female..the others..not so much..

Allegedly after the photoshoot and still suitably attired, the lads went to a local pub for a round of beers.
