If you're defending a regime that has killed 20,000 women and children in the last 5 months you don't get to make that argument.

I just opened the xitter today and #2 trending today is 'Israeli is ISIS'.

Why do you think that is happening?
Why is ISIS mostly attacking Muslim countries and those that support Palestinians?

Turkey in Januar
Iran in January
Afghanistan just now (likely)
Russia just now

As I understand it, Muslims can also hate other Muslims of differing sects. There are seven different Islamic sects namely Sunni, Shia, Whabbi, Salafi, Berelvi, Sufi and Deobandi .

And there is no making sense of any radicalized or extremist groups. Especially when it comes to religion. Even consider the serious and violent American on American radicalization of democracy over their demagogue Trump.

Orthodox jews look with contempt and disdain on the less observant.

Let me ask you this Frank. If followers of The Prophet Allah truly support and love their Palestinian brothers, sisters and children... why do they close their borders into Egypt and Lebanon? They have locked in their starving people facing zionist genocide! Why don't the obscenely rich arab countries agree to fund and accept Gazan refugees like CIVILIZED societies have accepted Ukrainian refugees?

Why?

And in light of the above noted history of intra-Islamic terrorism, how dare you blame the jews for some false flag operations that you have NO evidence of except your visceral hatred of jews and zionists and anyone who empathizes with them?

The guy who they just casually cut his ear off and made him eat it and then filmed it takes the cake. And no one in Russia gaf what they just publicly did.

The third guy has no pants on because they wired up his balls, electrically castrated him and filmed that too!

Jaysuz H Christ! That first guy is the most scared human I have ever seen. Gives me chills just watching him shake in mortal terror.😰 Watch the interrogation. I believe he is speaking the truth. Who is behind it? Who knows. Somebody beyond evil.

Although he is a fucking mass murderer, I almost feel bad for these poor weak men that are so desperate and vulnerable to being convinced to commit mass murder in the name of some God or for $10,000.00.

And while I feel empathy for the Russian citizens who were killed for money by this weak man. Russians are reaping what they sow.

If these 150 dead Russians going about life at a rock concert while their ruling class is sending their own friends, brothers etc were brave enough to suicide storm the Russian parliament or local government assemblies and started killing the apparachtik , things would change right fucking fast. The bad Russians are cowardly bullies who collapse when faced with true strength and bravery.

It wouldn't ake more than a dozen Russian citizen guerilla attacks on regional Russian politicians, police, security forces to have those groups collapse or turn on Putin and the people he controls.

But they don't want to do it.

And if they did - like 1917 - they would just facilitate the same type of government taking power a few months later.

While I do to a degree agree that history repeats itself, you said elsewhere that you hope humanity is progressing.

Having spent some extended time in Russia (albeit just St Petes and Moscow-last visit circa 2018) and having several Russian immigrant friends, modern day Russians have experienced a different life than back in 1917.

Russian people love western life and ALL that comes with it. But they are propagandized like no other about Russian greatness being unrecognized and are becoming more and more oppressed. Who knows what the sentiments are in the regions or how the balance is now that anyone who could leave at the beginning of the war, did leave and aren't looking back.

But it only takes a few thousand brave Russians who know they are going to die anyways. Imagine if forced conscripts, knowing they wer ebing sent to die in a meat wave, turned their wepons on their commanders AND the second line whose orders are to kill the front line meat if they retreat? Things would change right fucking fast!

That's why I think VVP isn't going to institute conscription, despite all the talk. So far, the Russians have done ad hoc conscription of minorities in remote areas - i.e. simply press ganging them at gunpoint - or forced convicts to fight. But they've avoided conscripting Muscovites or St Petersburgers. Because there's always that possibility that if you give people in Moscow and St P guns, they will get pissed off enough to kill you. And that some generals will ride the coattails of the rioters and seize power.

1917 happened like that. Unpopular war. Unpopular leader. Guys in Moscow and St P with access to military weapons and all of a sudden the Czar and his family are being thrown down some mineshaft in Siberia.

I didn't know that. Now I see your point. And withdraw mine!

Did someone in another Israel thread argue that terrorist groups can be "defeated" and therefore Israel's narrative that they are "eliminating Hamas" was entirely achievable? To that person, this latest attack on Russia is a lesson, that terror groups can never be eliminated or defeated. They are ideologies and they persist. Infact, the more you attack them, the more entrenched they get. This is going to be the case with Hamas as well.

They do not, because that is Israel's tactic and strategy. To create a pressure cooker situation and push the Palestinians out. They would then occupy the land, build settlements, walls, checkpoints and call it security measures. Effectively, they will take as much land as possible from the Palestinians with as little Palestinians as possible. The Arab states see this, and they know this is what Israel wants to do. So they close their borders to a) Prevent Israel from doing that and b) Not absolve Israel from being responsible for the humanitarian crisis they created.

This has nothing to do with intra-Muslim conflicts.

This is a great documentary on how Israel slowly has taken over Palestinian lands over time. Watch it at your leisure.

I will also say, that I grew up in a VERY pro-Israel nation. India is as pro-Israel as you can get. People love Israel. But having talked to many Israeli friends and acquaintances I have come to detest Zionists. They are basically the equivalent of white nationalists and are rightfully despised. I mean, tell me one other ideology that advocates for an ethnostate that anybody in the west would support? Except for Israel. lol. My observation is that it becomes very difficult for people in this part of the world to admit this, particularly caucasians, because I suspect "white guilt" for past injustices Jews suffered in the west. But anyone black, or immigrant or brown that I have spoken to all support Palestine even in Canada and despise the Zionists.

Here is a street interview of regular Israelis. See what they say about the Palestinians. You have to take it with a grain of salt of course, but its still a little window into how Israelis think.

This attack on Russia reminds me of the 2008 attacks in India by Lashkar-e-Taiba. They sent 20 year old kids. Paid them 100,000 Pakistani Rupees. That is 500 CAD in today's money. They attacked 5 or 6 locations, killed 150 to 200 people over 3 days. I remember back in '08 when they interrogated the poor bastard and broadcast it on live TV. They put him under Sodium Pentathol, and I didn't know if I should be angry at the kid or feel sorry for him. Dirt poor families, no education, nothing. They just exploit these weak men and make them do terrible things.
Thanks for the considered, insightful reply. I'm about done for the day so I'm going to adjourn sine die. But I will reply.
