This is the Christianity of Falwell--who blamed 9/11 on tolerance of homosexuality; Robertson--who called for the murder of Hugo Chavez; and Bush--who, is, well, Bush. This is Christianity completely denuded of the golden rule, a form of nihilism instead of a religion.
It is the Christianity of Christ where He teaches to be paitent and let others come. He teaches that people make choices and we are not to throw stones at them, but rather understand that we too are imperfect.
