So you're saying Trump's policy was a total fuckshow disaster and that Biden should have fixed it?
Did he fix it? And since Trump never had a chance to execute his policy, what are you babbling about? The buck stops at the big desk and it belongs to Biden, not Trump. There was an election last year. Perhaps you missed it?

what I really don't understand is "the logic behind speaking to trumpists" on here.

If we see an obese person eating junk food from a bucket like a farm animal, do we speak with them about diet or health or anything of the sort? Hell no! We consider them beyond repair and ignore them and let them live their unhealthy disgusting lives.

If we see a junkie shooting up in the alley we would not have high hopes that we could turn them around.

Why the hell we are still talking to the ultra rights on this board I have no idea. There is no teaching them , no learning from them. No stopping them from consuming their poison of choice, be it fox or breitbart or the daily stormer. What's the logic behind it? I don't know :)

LOL!! Biden left $85 billion worth of military equipment for the Taliban to enjoy. FREE. Makes the Saudi deal look pretty good, eh?
Typical

Several Republican members of Congress and former President Donald Trump have cited a grossly exaggerated figure of $85 billion worth of equipment they say has now fallen into the hands of the Taliban. But that figure — actually $82.9 billion — is the total amount spent on the Afghanistan Security Forces Fund since the war began in 2001.

Only a portion of that is equipment. And military experts say much of the equipment has been used up or is otherwise inoperable; the military has moved or destroyed some of it as well.

Absolutely. Nor do I blame Biden for what was left. That is solely the fault of the Military. Who tried once again to use it as part of the excuse to extend it.

And without spare parts and maintenance expertise its toast in 6 months anyway.

Bullshit. He doesn't handle logistics. Thats just stupid. They tried to delay orders and got caught with their pants down. They thought they could bluff to stay.

ROTFLMFAO!! No, he doesn't run the logistics. But, his is the final word how the military operates, what it leaves behind and how his policy is executed. By suggesting that the Pentagon "delayed orders" is to admit that Biden was not in control of the military in general and the Afghan pull out in particular.

Um no. He set a date and expected them to keep it. The generals have been playing these games for years. Delay, bad reports, curated intelligence, promises they can't keep. He made them stick to it this time and the failure is entirely theirs. They had six months.

More importantly that equipment was earmarked for the Afghan security forces. The Pentagon out and out lied as to their state of training and commitment. As well the Warlords falsified numbers to collect extra paychecks.

To be clear. No President since Reagan amd perhaps Bush 1 imo has had control over the military. They have lied to Congress and the WH in cahoots with the intelligence services to gain bigger budgets and more power in Washington. And to get lucrative board positions on Arms Contractor boards.

Biden is the first in a long time to reign them in. And about time too. The caterwalling the ex Intel heads and other paid shills in the media says it all. And it didn't work. The People wanted out. He actually did it. And there was no way, due to the graft and incompetence at such grandiose levels that it was going to be anything than what it was.

On this Biden did right.
