Wrong again. The atheistic forces of Nazism and Communism have killed far more people than all the religious wars of the past combined. Who knows how many people are being put to death in Communist China even today with organ harvesting and mass imprisonment, done in complete secrecy?
Go back into the annals of history my friend.
Hard to get an accurate number, but the Muslim conquests of India had a death toll of around 80M. Some scholars have said the genocide numbers could be in the hundreds of millions.
The Crusades were around 6M. The Congolese Genocide is up to 15M.
When you refer to Nazism, I assume you’re actually referring to the Holocaust. That’s at least 6M right there. Well, that figure gets lumped in with the other religious conflicts that I was referring to.
Conservatively, the religious conflict historical death toll exceeds 100M.
Nazism and communism are relatively modern day constructs. The communist manifesto was published in 1848, but Russia only became the first communist nation in 1917. That’s barely a century.
That said, I stand by my statement that religion has been the most divisive force in mankind’s history.
The problem isn’t the belief of God or a higher being. The problem is intolerance of how other people worship their respective god/gods.
