Just Me and These Ponies

For me the holidays are not just a time of joy spent with family and friends but it's a time for reflection, taking a moment to think of all those that may not be so fortunate. It's a time when I think of loved ones now gone, of those that perhaps are not able to leave the home for whatever circumstance and may find themselves alone or those that live in other parts of the world dealing with hunger, war and a general lack of personal security that we are fortunate to enjoy here in Canada.
With all that in mind I thought I'd share the above song, a simple reminder to take a moment for those that may be spending their holiday alone, to make a call, say hello and if possible send a note or small gift. Everyone likes to know they are valued, they are appreciated and whether your best friend would prefer some oats or a bottle of cheer I do hope you find a way to let them know they are valued and loved.

I have always found this quote to ring true to who I am, not only in my personal life but in my professional one as well. I believe it's important to select ones companions carefully, to spend time with those that enrich our lives in some way and that goes for both the ladies and the gentlemen in this industry. I enjoy spending time with someone that makes me laugh, makes me think, and makes me feel like a woman and I in turn strive to make them laugh, challenge them to think about the world in a new way and to feel like a man desired by a beautiful woman. This shouldn't be hard, it's not great acting, it's a matter of choosing your companions well and spending time with those that you truly enjoy.

I am currently in Toronto and would be happy to arrange for a date over the next few days. Whether you are looking for an escape from the holiday stresses or perhaps a special treat to ring in the new year I would enjoy spending some time with you.
