It would seem to be for those who have issue with medications, those who are already diagnosed with a known heart issue and those that have a pacemaker. There is no need to constantly monitor your own heart rhythm otherwise, unless you are in one of the classes above. A simple blood pressure monitor device, also sold at Shopper's and elsewhere is a good thing to have if you have HBP, they also can detect abnormal heart rhythms.

Anybody here ever had blocked arteries? How was it discovered?
It was discovered via angiogram after I had a mild heart attack at 50.

Prior to that I had no fucking idea or warning. 3 stents later I am careful about what I eat to a degree....I want to live but I also want a life. A little pat of butter IMO is 1000% times better than margarine that can sit on your counter for a century and never go bad.
