14 Who does Michael Corleone describe as "... a good man" in II?

Turnbull is a good man. When Mike is talking with Senator Pat Geary about the casino licenses.

16 Who was the only character to use 'the F word' in II?

Again while talking to Senator Pat Geary about the casino licenses. I despise you and your “whole F-ing family.

Let me give this a shot.

4 Characters in 1 and 3 but not in 2, you say....

1. Lucy Mancini

2. Johnny Fontaine (great singer Al Martino)

3. Don Tommasino (mentor to Michael)

4. Nazorine the baker who made Connie's cake (he asked Don Corleone for Enzo, his Son-in-Law to be, to stay in the USA)
Nazorine was, indeed, the baker who made Connie's cake. Don Tommasino is in II. One correct from this post.

Sofia Coppola. Correct
Roman Coppola Correct
In addition to portraying Corleone in III, Sofia was also the baby at the baptism in I, and one of the passengers on the Moshulu ship in II. Her brother Roman was a bystander in the scene where Sonny kicks the shit out of Carlo in I, and he was 'young Sonny' in the sequence where Vito and his family visit Sicily, in II. Two for you.

8. Don Vito Corleone Dec 7 1891. Correct
39. Salozzo Incorrect
40. Antonio Barzini Incorrect
47. Constantina Incorrect

8: At the beginning of II, in summer, 1901, on screen text states that Vito was 9 years old. At the end of the film, it's mentioned that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on 'Pop's birthday'.
39 Solozzo was not a Boss. He was just a narcotics trafficker, well connected with associates in Sicily.
40 Barzini's turf' was never specified. In the reconciliation meeting with the heads of the five Families, Don Vito Corleone' refers to several of those in attendance, and specifies the territories of two of them in particular.
47 Constanzia was the name of Sonny's sister; his wife's name was not Constantina

One for you.

Fair enough.

One question: I don't recall Lucy in Part 2. Where does she appear?

Don Draper, you got one point for correctly answering question 36, identifying Nazorine as the baker who made Connie's wedding cake. You got no points for question 1, because you did not identify the four characters, played by the same actors, who were in the first and third films, but not in the second. My comment 'One Correct from this post' refers to the point for question 36, and your reply in post #40. I can see how this can be confusing, probably because you gave the Nazorine answer referring to both questions 1 & 36. I didn't ding you for not mentioning the question number, (36), re: Nazorine, because that question had been previously answered incorrectly by others, and because it was clear to all which question you were answering. If someone made a post like "Clemenza", and nothing else, I'd probably just ignore it.

In post 45, I said "Don Tommasino is in II", which explains why your answer to question 1 is cannot be correct. I never stated that Lucy is in Part 2. In fact, I'm 100% certain that she isn't. Note that any clues I might give in responses are for the benefit of anyone reading my posts, even if I'm not responding to them.

There are other characters who are in I and III, but not in II, such as one of Sonny's daughters, who's in the wedding photo from I, and might be the little girl who danced on Tessio's feet, unless that was her twin sister. The two roles, however, were not played by the same actor/ actress. I don't count roles as unnamed background extras, except for cases like question 7, where the extra was the director's son.

21 What did Tom Hagen buy, on Michael's behalf, as a Christmas gift for Anthony? Answered correctly by KostasM

Hey, great list. I love it except I refuse to answer anything associated with III...

21. a sled
... Caan

To the best of my knowledege...

21. Snow Sled

...(Mancini)
There is a scene where Tom Hagen has a snow sled under his arm around Christmas time, but it was not for Anthony. This was at Christmas, 1945, when Tom was kidnapped by Sollozzo, several years before Anthony's birth.

I'll give this thread another week, with at least one more bump, before posting the correct answers for questions that nobody answered correctly.
