No, but everyone doesn't have to live in an urban jungle either. They should have a choice.

Humans did not evolve in close quarters. Look at uncontacted tribes. How dense are their settlements? How much territory do they cover?

Human evolution has nothing to do with this lol. What exact evolution is going to happen living downtown in a condo vs living in a suburb in an independent house? lol.

And sure people should have a choice and I believe they already do. It is a matter of money and choice. You need both and has it ever been any different?
