It is the household consumption, which is the binge and high volume steady drunkards not the bars and restaurant consumption that is the key factor in some countries giving the Eastern European nations the lead in alcohol consumption per capita.I know both Japanese and Koreans work hard and also play hard. Which means a lot of alcohol consumption. However, I'm not sure how much drinking they do in the household they seem to be more binge type drinkers to me. I could be wrong tho.
