The dreaded summer constructions

Attention hobbyists: Please help out your fellow hobbyists by giving us a heads up if you noticed any constructions ahead that would delay your appointments!
I can't stretch enough that getting stuck in traffic would greatly affect my mood when I got to her door!
Yonge and Sheppard is heating up with more constructions opening in the area as summer has arrived:frusty:

I rode downtown this weekend. It is a mess. Construction at Union Station (been going on for years) and all along Queens Quay. Looks like maybe something going on at Front Street as well. Plus, all the new condos being built.

Wonder how many more years it's going to take to finish the bridge at black creek and Weston road?

Construction companies really know how to stretch out a project.

I'm not sure if they get a fixed sum of money from the government or it varies according to the time it takes(over budget without penalty 90 % of the time).

They probably do it to ensure another days work for it's employees.

Then there is the unnecessary type of construction where you see guys breaking up 10 feet of curb in one day.

Then they take a week to build it back.

All the while 2 guys doing all the work while 5 others just stand and look on.

Thing is there was nothing wrong with the curb and they did not remove it to access lines,pipes etc under it either.

LOL...hate to break it to you guys ...but the grinding crews are ramping up for some resurfacing on the 401....
let the bitching begin..!!!
