i think almost anyone who is a fan of hockey, never doubted for a moment that heatley would have a great statistical year in san jose. what is in doubt slappy, is how he will fare in the playoffs. the sharks have put together two of the biggest stars in the league, who both just happen to have the reputations (fair or not), of being playoff choke artists. you can throw marleau in there as well.

i will not say anything about how i feel they will do in the playoffs, only that they lack the depth they had going into last season's playoffs, and they did nothing then.

Heatley Takes Lead in NHL Goals !

Well he tied for the lead until last night when Ovechkin scored one and Gaborik scored twice.

Heatley has scored 14 goals so far this season.

He has helped the Sharks into first over all in the NHL.

It's probably an old story but I heard over the weekend that Heatley scored with Spezza's fiancee before the Spezza wedding and that was the reason why heatley was a no-show for his best friend's wedding and the team.
