In case you haven't been paying attention, inflation is a global phenomenon post-COVID. It's not solely a U.S. phenomenon. If that's not enough for you to reconsider your thesis, the U.S. trade deficit China hit a record in 2021. China is not causing all the shortages. China also doesn't impact America's cost for gas, cost for meat and cost for housing.

More importantly, the Democrats have controlled all the Federal power since January 2021. They could have rescinded the tariffs.
