The costs of SC compared to MP/SP

Please help an old man out here
I was at the TERB party in NF on Feb 20 2003
My first TERB party in about 30 yrs of hobbying
I do not understand why someone would take a dancer to a private area in a club pay $20.00 for dances
After 10 dances light $200.00 if you were lucky you may have had a bit of fun aand lovely eye candy
When you vould take that same $200.00 and had a terrific time with a lady for about an hour
fully satisified
or taken that $200.00 and gone for 2 very good massages and been taken care of
No hit
no miss
But dances at $20.00 per song
that is a very expensive hit or miss evening
And then the cover charge
the over priced beer
Please explain this to an old but interested man
I am sure this is not a new ??

While I agree with you that for me, an hour with an SP is much more rewarding...I still go to MPs for the variety. I'm not much of a SC fan...but where else can a guy get the maximum variety all in one turn of the head? For some guys, it's the chance to scope, sample, get teased...etc. by several different girls at $20 a pop. Yes, more expensive than the quarter peep...but these are live sexy girls sitting on your lap... and if you can strike a deal for later, it's less of a crap shoot. And some guys like the crowd atmosphere....there's a rush and excitement in all of it.

So I understand it...just not my thing. Used to be, but like you said, we're gettin old...

SCs Vs. Other Options

It's a mistake to compare a SC experience with an SP or MP visit. If you compare the SC in the terms of the others, you will easily come to the conclusion that sweetdaddyc posted above.

It's true that if you are looking for a one-on-one encounter, the Strip Club is not your best value. However, the SC offers elements that are not available from the other services.

First of all, it's more of a social environment. You can go with your pals, have some drinks and some laughs, and mix it up by looking at beautiful naked women.

Secondly, you get to watch the girls "do their thing" on stage and even gauge how busy they are in the VIP. This helps you chose one that will meet your taste. No bait-and-switch or unleasant surprises (fewer, anyway).

Third, you can flirt and chat with the women and get a sense of their personality before you commit significant sums of money.

Finally, if you get a dance and discover that you're not happy with the dancer you selected, you can cut it short for $20 and get back to the party.

I'm personally not into MPs. I don't feel comfortable doing incalls and, IMO, an MP is just another kind of incall. If I'm going for the one-on-one experience, I'll see an outcall SP. If I want a more social experience, I'll hit an SC.

Both have their individual benefits.

Having a beautiful dancer give you a good lap dance is more about a fantasy than reality. Some of us have wives/girlfriends and while we love our women at home and don’t necessarily want to cheat on them, the spark has gone out. We go to sc and have a gorgeous girl wiggle her naked body all over us and then go home with that image in our mind and make love to our wives. My ex used to like me going to sc’s and never discouraged it cuz she knew I’d be coming home horny.

I never spent $200 in my life in a sc. I usually get 3 to 4 songs. If I don’t like what she’s doing for me, then I quit after the 1st song.

If what you are into is getting laid, then I agree, a sc is not the best or most cost effective place to do it. It is possible though as was the case at the terb party, hee hee.

I realize that there is a gray area here. There are some dancers that are also sp’s. From their point of view, dancing is an excellent front for their profession. They can recruit clients, filter out most of creeps and build a rapport with better ones. I sensed from the dancers I met at the terb party that this is what most of them are doing.

Generally speaking, the more beautiful an sp, the higher the price. Most dancers are beautiful and if they are into the sp thing, then they generally are high priced sp’s. From the customer’s point of view, if you’re into the eye candy/higher priced sp’s then going to a sc is a good place to seek these girls out. You can meet them, get to know them, make arrangements with them and most importantly, sample the merchandise. I think this is less hit and miss than simply going to an sp based solely on her ad.

I know that sc’s have overpriced drinks. I don’t think that I idea is to drink large quantities of alcohol. I generally buy one or two drinks and nurse them all night. I’d rather spend my money on the ladies.

A waste of money sometimes, yes. Many times I've left an SC having spent MUCH more money than I was initially planning to, but I have to agree with what others have already said above: an SC offers the environment, atmosphere, and variety of great-looking ladies that you can pick and choose from.
Yes, I know that the chances of leaving with an SP are slim (with the exclusion of old Fantasia), but nontheless it can be a great place to try.

Shiek, you're absolutely right. It usually happens with one of the ladies I see at Lancaster on Bloor, that neither of us keeeps track of how many songs have past or how long we've been up there, we simply try to arrive at some figure afterwards based on time - usually to my benefit.

I go to strip clubs when I am with my single male friends and we decide to have fun. It is more talk, drink, eat and watch a few pretty naked women. My friends don't know that I am a hobbist, so I consider that SC experience is socially more acceptable.

I choose SP when I want some action.
