The PC people are willing to kill thousands and more for their agenda. That is why we were called racists for avoiding Chinese markets a couple of months ago. I likely would not have gone to one anyways, but I definitely had would have avoided one, Why? Because the likelihood of someone recently arrived from China being there was much higher than from a Middle east type market.
Bill makes a good point. Too many people here dismissed early concerns as racist and minimized the impact COVID-19 would have in Canada.
Public Health officials like Theresa Tam should get fired. Politicians like Patty Hajdu should lose their cabinet positions and hopefully she and others like her don’t get re-elected. I’m sure there are similar examples in all the jurisdictions.

and I hope our government and other governments don't wimp out and not hold China accountable. I know even now we are getting PPEs from China and I get it as we need them urgently. But after that we (G20 countries etc) need to force corporations like Apple to leave China or face sanctions.
This situation would not be tolerated if it was a middle eastern country. Iraq was attacked for much less (or for nothing really).
