And what salary are you talking about? The $174K she makes for being in congress? Because she doesn't appear to earn anything besides that. I'm sure Breitbart or some other less credible (they do indeed exist) outlet might lie about it, like her net worth being $29M, and people who lack critical thinking skills might believe it. But basically, there is no credible information that she makes more than anyone else in Congress or the party. Remember, all members of congress need to file financial disclosures every year. They are in the public record, you can check them out. If she lied on them, she could face five years in the slammer and a $50K fine.

The theme I see here from the righties, and @Phatazluvr123 seems to be shouting it, is that women cannot do politics. They get attacked for how they look (either they're too attractive or too unattractive) and they get called emotional and not logical. And if that doesn't work, they blatantly lie about them, saying they are in politics to get rich, or their policies are too out there to be acceptable. AOC might not be your cup of tea because she is a lefty, but she doesn't spread crazy conspiracy theories like school shootings were fakes or that giant Jewish space lasers started wildfires.

As for the Met Gala, I think you are pointing out what most people would call hypocrisy. She was invited, along with many NY politicians, and borrowed a dress with a message that many didn't like. Nothing I've read from credible sources say she was there to get free stuff. I think she talks the talk and walks the walk. You probably don't like her message, but it does resonate with her constituents and a pretty large chunk of America.
