You think that Trump has any clue as to what the trade negotiations were all about? All he wanted was to screw Canada, and Freeland refused to sign off with it.
Pelosi clearly stated that if Canada was not included in this deal, then there was no chance of it passing through the House.
This deal with Freeland in tandem with Mexico gave all the parties what they wanted. Freeland was praised for it generally by all the media for being tough with the USA, and getting Mexico's co-operation!!

Now the so called "King of the Art of the deal" wants to screw up Canada and Mexico once again with his tariffs.
Are you okay with it?

art of the deal 😅😅 Dude Trump is broke. All his loans are to Russian banks. in a few years the US will realize how fooled they got. Trump as been a fraud since early 80’s.

Trump is a business man more than he is a politician. Freeland was a journalist.
In the end, the deal was better for the US compared to what they had before. That was Trump's objective.

btw you mean like tariffs the Canadian feds put on things like EV's? Those kinds of tariffs?

A failed business man that bankrupted several of his businesses so as to prevent the payment of the employees and contractors.
Then the so called Trump Scamversity followed a similar pattern where he had to dole out the cash back to the students.
Where has Canada implemented tariffs on EVs involving the USA. It is against China, that the USA has also implemented.
But Trump has pledged to impose these tariffs on more Canadian products imported into the USA.
He is clueless that it is all about costing the USA citizens as much as an extra $4000 a year!!
Same will occur if Canada retaliates to it!!
