Vince is flashy, and draws the fans with his great moves, but when it comes down to it...overated. He just doesn't produce at the level expected of him.

He's not the same anymore. The way he played under Butch was amazing. There was no way you could stop him once he got the ball and drove. I still have some of his old clips and when I watch them now I can't believe he's the same player. He's got so much potential, and I still believe he can be one of the best if he puts more heart into his game.

Vince

I have met Vince before at a club, he is arrogant and cocky and I think that attitude follows him on to the court as well.

He does have potential but, in his mind, he must also think that he has a very lucrative contract and that he doesn't have to work as hard as he did when he was just gaining recognition. U

Unfortunalty that is the attitude of some of or top paid athletes these days.

Tey get paid too much money and realize that they don't have to earn it, it's pretty much just handed over with all the other perks.

Just my opinnion.

i guess when people, have a big cushion to fall on, (money, success) inspiration and motivation spikes and then drops because you dont have to work hard because youre already set.
i agree he is overstylish and lacks what he had 3 yrs ago.
i still wish tmac signed.

They need another guy like Oakley to kick some ass in that locker room - this team is just plain soft.

I do have to agree with you that most star players are cocky. One of my friends met Vince and said the same thing about him, however JYD was a very nice guy and same with Mo Pete as I have met both before.

Vince stunk against the pistons, even without Ben Wallace the Raps lost. Pretty sad I must say however they did cover the point spread tho.

Leading the league in all star balloting (3 yrs in a roll-I think)is getting to him. Does he deserve to? I don't think so. Then why? Reputation is the answer.

Stinky

Agreed I am so sad to see JYD go, his enthusiasm at the games (not seen on Tv)was amazing, he is the one who got the crowd going. He was also heavily involved in reading programs for kids in the GTA and other things for the community.

Vince is young and unfortunatley many are riding his ban wagon, for thier own benefits.

If I didn't know him I wouldn't comment but meeting him a few times has been enough for me too see his stinky attitude shine through.

Vince is no pussy, and cocky is not necessarily a bad thing for an all-star athlete. - But keep in mind that he is a member of an extremely mediocre team.

I think vince got injured in yesterday's game against new orleans. I missed the first half of the game and didn't see h im at all in the second half. Anyone know if it's day to day or is he gonna be out for a few weeks?

Carter is soft in the point and can"t or sorry.....won"t take it to the rack. Some say he doesn't get the calls in the inside. But, some may argue that he is almost like Primetime Deion Sanders (hates the bumping). But, then again Raptors management seem to have the knack for drafting, signing or keeping players that can't play won't play or shouldn't play in the NBA.
