To all those soldiers who have fought and died for our freedom.
This music always moves me. It is a remarkable composition and I think it appropriate for Remembrance Day.
I dedicate this composition to all those who took up arms against tyranny. A small thankyou on the eleventh day of the eleventh month. I'm lucky that I've never had to go through a war myself and I acknowledge a debt of gratitude.

Back in the day when Rene Levesque wanted Quebec to leave, Trudeau Sr, said this has given Canadians a chance to appreciate, and reflect how good life is in this country, because they might lose it. And he was right.
The lesson is that nothing is free. I do not take my freedom for granted

I think I understand where Don Cherry was coming from when he said not enough new Canadians wear the poppy.

I came across two of my neighbours arguing loudly over something stupid today right around the 11am. I asked them both to settle down and show some respect. Our little trifles are meaningless in the grand scheme of things especially today.
