After working too hard lately on Cupids and my other projects I almost forgot all about childhood dream of purchasing a Sybian. It wasn't until I started seeing threads on here popping up about various celebs on them that I recalled my desire for this machine.
This past Saturday evening I finally decided to take the plunge. I knew that it was the right time with the US dollar doing so poorly that I could easily afford this $1315 USD toy. I went to www.Sybian.com and pulled out my credit card. I was shaking as I was typing in my address, knowing that the Sybian would make a difference in my life.
On Wednesday, June 14th, 2006 at 1:37p.m. my life changed. The soft knock on my door was the UPS man. I ran to it; opened the door completely forgetting I was only wearing a towel. I had a smile that graced my face, from ear to ear. I knew what was in that box and I was excited. After signing all the documents and paying the customs fees I closed the door, thanking the gentleman for bringing me the most perfect present ever.
I digressed; I knew that I would have to wait for the maiden voage of Sybian until later that night. I took him out of the box and gently rested the leather casing on my floor, infront of the couch. I washed the appliances carefully and layed down a towel for them to dry on beside the Sybian. I plugged him in and whisked out the door to fill up the rest of the day to run errands.
I had made an agreement with the man that I have been dating that he would be there for the first time I would ride my new toy. We met after he was done work and enjoyed a few hours basking in the summer air together. The excitement of the evenings plans was stirring in my head; although he would talk I would only hear the buzz of the Sybian. I finally broke down and suggested going back to my home. He agreed.
Last night I cried. I have now seen God. I now understand life. I have been on a Sybian. I feel complete as a person.
