i was there a few years back. i spent sometime in Bangkok and Pattaya. Both awesome places. Pattaya is more laid back, but still has alot of tourist stuff to do especially if you like activities in the water. The shopping is great. I'd say book a tour so you can see everything
Sure could use more chain hotels in Pattaya. All that's there is an overpriced Sheraton and a Marriot. Where's Hilton, Holiday Inn and the others. Gee, a "Comfort Inn" would be a nice fark place!

Hi J-Jazz...to each their own...I understand it as a fact of their culture..i don't accept it. averaging 25,000 to a family to sell a child into a city life of unprotected sex. I saw some 20/20 - 60 minutes documentary on it..was 3-4 years ago Jazz. It stuck too much in my mind. i'll take your word for it that things have modernized.
