If you're a boob lover, Manila has it all over AC. I found there were lots of girls in AC, but I wouldn't touch the majority of them. The first girl I had in Manila had the best rack I've seen in 47 years, bar none. Manila definitely is more expensive than AC, though. Filipinas tend to be more GFE. Never been to Thailand, but I had no issue traveling alone. One thing though: it's true to beware a single Filipino who comes up to you on the street wanting to help you out with anything.

Beaver, get a free membership to the first site I posted and check out the photos that other users post from all the clubs in AC and the girls they've bar fined back to their rooms.

Bobzilla is right though, the Manila girls are much nicer because its a magnet to so many girls across the country who want to be singers and actresses (kind of like in L.A.), but a night at a good club in Makati could also get you a week's worth of pussy in AC. There are more than enough sexy girls there to offer you something you'll like.

Utter Crap, In Thailand you can travel alone (I'm Caucasian). I've done it twice (month at a time) and never felt threatened at all. Just be sure to use common sense and understand the concept of "Face"... it's key to understanding the culture there. For Thailand I would recommend the Secrets Message board. http://www.pattayasecrets.com/forums There's a goldmine of information about P4P, as well as information about tourism in Thailand. Pattaya Rocks, Phuket is ok, but more expensive, scenery is much better though.

I can't wait to go back... Hopefully this year in March/April for a few weeks.

Anyhow check out the old clark air force base. Town is called Olongapo, and google Baloy Barretto Amazing bars, all girl bars, ex pats, reasonable prices. still onyl 1200 peses a bar fine, whole day.
which for you locals around $30, not badat the . So many bars, so many girls. All foreign run, no violence, no muggings, really safe.
Barrio Barretto look them up...dont stay at the wild orchid, so many cheaper places. Dont book a week do day by day, and always try Sitting Bull, best price, best american food.

I believe you mean Angeles(sp)City, that is where Clark Air Base was. Olongapo is where Subic Bay, the Naval Base was. I met someone here recently who was in Angeles, and he said, he had a great time.

I have been To Thailand 4 times since 2007 my 5th trip will be later this year. I have never been to the Phillipines but I will go for sure someday. Several people I know have been to both and all prefer Thailand over the Phillipines but have not really had anything bad to say about their Phillipines trip. Fun can be had in both places but it seems Thailand is a friendlier and safer place.But like any other tourist destination you have to watch yourself in Thailand. Yes there are pick pockets here and there. Yes your valuables ie laptops and jewlery can be stolen. Just use common sense don't walk around flashing your money or your gold watch or necklace.Your better off just leaving that stuff here at home. There are scams to atch out for hile in Thailand. Don't rent jetskies at the beach in Pattaya or in Phuket, Many people who rent them get falsely acussed of scratching or denting them by crooked rental operartors and are hit up for big money to repair the damage. Also if in Bangkok stay away from the tuk tuk drivers they have been know to overcharge tourists. Another safety tip stay off the beach at night. Many local thai teens tend to drink and party on the beach at night so you could be asking for trouble if your walking alone on the beach. Many of you seemed concerned about ladyboys. Yea there are a fair number around in Pattaya,Bangkok and Phuket for te most part they wont bother you as long as you don't bother them.If you pickup a girl and are not sure just ask they wil usually let you know if they are a ladyboy.Isit safe to walkaround alone? Of course it is but like I said before just use common sense dont walk around flashing your bling. All the time that I have spend n Thailand i have never felt unsafe. Yes there is a large Russian tourist population in Pattaya if you go you will notice that most restaurants have menues in Thai, English and Russian. Also many street signs now are in Thai and Russian. I have never had any problems with the Russian tourists.
So if you want to go to Thailand go have fun and relax and enjoy your visit.

other than being fat,drunk and stupid and they give americans a good running for the title of being the most obnoxious/worst tourists in the world,they are mostly harmless and stick to themselves

i have had no problems during my 11 trips since nov 2006,i feel safer there than i do here,but i dont get drunk and cruise the streets late at night(after 1am)

act there like you would here,i'm sure none of you would walk the jane&finch corridor after midnight,drunk and flashing cash and wearing bling so dont do it abroad
