I dont need one, so I dont see how paying anything over 1 cent/month would be fitting my budget or needs...end of story!

let the morons who spend $80+/mnth on it enjoy them.....funny thing is, 75% or more of people that have cells still have a hard line ;) now that is stupid.

I spend 10.00 a month on my cell phone i dont know what you are talking about!!!! My cell phone is the cheapest bill i have and it brings me alot of business! You started this by saying that you called an sp from your home phone and got caught THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE!!! 10.00 a month pay as you go no bill and no getting caught! i put my phone away when i drive and when i am having time with my child. It does not run my life or ruin my life!

perhaps this is an American notion, but can we buy "disposable" cell phones--i.e. phones that are preloaded, can buy for cash---just use and dump...in this part of the world?

I don't text it is a bit ridiculous.
Think about this..... what if Alexander Bell had invented a phone that we could have only text on and that was our only option for years. Then one day the phone company unveils a great new technology that with only pressing a few number we could actually speak live to someone.. live Voice would be all the rage now.

Vash it just shows what you know, anyone with any sense knows that oranges are a waste of money. The apple is much better for you. Doctors have said forever that one of them a day keeps them away. Oranges dont do that. Only people who have cell phones with bell or pay as you go eat them....Lol

Ok i think you totally missed my point!!!! It is so risky for you guys to call from your home phone especially if the sp is in a hurry and didnt hear or understand your message to NOT call your house back! 10.00-15.00 a month for cell phone so when the sp's call you back its on your cell not home phone that was the point i was trying to get across the old "better safe than sorry"!!! And 10-15.00 a month is nothing compared to what you spend on your hobby maybe you should be banking that for your childrens education fund??? lol

There is a good reason why sps do not like texting. When you speak to someone over the phone you can learn what kind of person you are allowing in your room. A phone call can tell if a person is safe or not. You have to realize we are women and do not know who we are allowing in our room and sometimes we have a bad experience with clients hurting us or what-not. We do things according to our safety. I know men go through the same thing when it comes to us girls with a bad experience but you can tell what a sp is like with how she speaks over the phone as well. As well we get 30-40 trexts at times from one person and it is too much a simple phone call can be done and over in 5 mins or less so it does not waste no ones time.

cell phones are good in case of emergency or anything of that sort. The people who cause accidents and so forth are just irresponsible people.
