tried contacting 3 different ladies on Peterborough Leo and Locanto using a texting app over the last week not one reply, sent a text to my own number text came thru ok no indication it was an app. Today tried to contact 2 other Peterborough ladies 4hrs and still no reply either they know I'm using an app or they just cant be bothered to reply either way its another nail in the lid for the providers that are local, will start searching Barrie way had two replies within an hour and I don't mind the drive.

Most ladies think if you are using an app you are creepy and trying to hide. Which both are true.
Its pretty easy to tell and usually not worth the time or risk for them

Good point but cant have a 2nd phone just to easy to get found plus never had issue with apps a year ago, suspect a lot of provider use them also the way they change numbers on a regular basis

True, I get it from both sides. Tough for a married guy ( or whatever reason) to use their primary number. But gotta respect a ladies concerns and safety as well. Comes from their experiences i assume

You can always get a dual SIM phone and put a prepaid account on the second SIM.

I don't think that there is a good solution for this.
Personally, I can't have an obvious second phone lying around, let alone risk having a second phone be discovered.
And texting apps aren't even acknowledged.
Dual SIM phone is possible, but then I end up with some oddball phone that's not your regular Samsung/iPhone/Huawei

im in the same boat new samsung and dont have 900 for another new phone lol
You could also just get a prepaid SIM and swap them as needed.

You can even forward your main number to the prepaid before swapping if you still need to be reachable to avoid suspicion. Doesn't help with text though.
