That was probably the play from the very beginning.Tesla dropping 50% just proves 1 thing...Musk running DOGE is not to enrich himself....the liberals were his #1 market target...he just turned the liberal boogeyman because he supported Donald Trump....who was also a democrat.....like Tulsi, RFK and soon to be...John Fetterman and Chuck Schumer...LoL
It's ok, the Dems will need to overhaul anyway, they won't be successful staying on the current path.
Schumer is very skilled at what he does, there might be an initial set back, but it'll be for the positive in the long term.
Jobs that people shouldn't have had in the first place or are redundant, obsolete, etc need to be removed. No one is owed a living. If there's a need for a specific job then so be it. But we all know government is the biggest culprit when it comes to wasting money.
Musk was hired to do a job.
His business is being attacked for political reasons by the very people who praised him a year ago.
The US government employs 3 million people. About 75,000 of them have already accepted voluntary leaves,
Tesla employs 125,000.
You can guarantee that all of those Tesla jobs are required.
Can you say the same for government jobs?
Musk turned political, without being elected. He`s doing it all for his benefit and one of his pal's billionaire cronies.
I hope the population continues their protest and brings Tesla to the ground.

He's just not in it solely to enrich himself.
He has much more powerful ideological drivers than just greed.

I still cannot get past the fact they get half their profits from selling carbon credits and that the Chinese EVs are developing at such a fast pace compared to them. BYD just released a car in China that can charge at 1000KW and go from 0-60 in 2 sec...for 35K
