I am likely more opposed to mass surveillance of the citizens of any country than you are.
I MIGHT not if the governments amended the Constitutions to make it a felony/criminal offence to use ANY information gleaned from such surveillance except for the explicit purpose of terrorism. But, obviously the Security Industry and the civil service and government have no such limitations in mind. In fact, they are expanding the permitted uses a little at a time. Even as I write such things as this simple conversational forum message on an escort review board, I wonder if one day I am flagged crossing into the US and questioned about my "activities". Or if I renew my US business visa again one day or apply for residency if I will be denied based on my critical statements, innocent and inconsequential as they may be...
