I've never considered you to be funny, (at least, not in the humourous sense), and I may be misinterpreting your intent, but this comes across as passive-aggressive 'small dick' stuff, similar to the guy who says 'Hey asshole. This is an irrelevant observation.
One doesn't have to have kids or particularly enjoy the company of children to be vehemently opposed to paedophilia.
One reason why this trans-in-sport issue has not been taken seriously enough is because the largest demographic in supporter of trans in all spaces are women... and most of these women have no interest in sports of any kind (male or female leagues). Sport and what is involved in sport competition isn't within their purview or life experience. Sport is little more than an abstract concept to them. Sport is merely a game of tag enjoyed by children and Neanderthal men. So, the logic goes that because it doesn't directly impact most women (and only impacts those moronic women that partake in sports), then who cares.
It's short-sighted, misguided, and immoral.

Heather Mason, an advocate for the rights of incarcerated women, learned about the situation after she was contacted by female inmates currently housed at GVI. Mason is a founding member of Canadian Women’s Sex-Based Rights, a non-partisan coalition of women working to advocate for single-sex spaces and sex-based rights. She also sits on the board of directors for Strength in Sisterhood (SIS), a group of women who have survived prison and are working to end female incarceration. Mason has been a vocal advocate against the transfer of men to women’s institutions.
Female inmates at GVI told Mason that Williams arrived at the women’s facility on March 6, having been transferred from maximum-security Millhaven Penitentiary for male offenders.

The whole pitch is NOT based on "protecting women's sports". It's about protecting women who happen to be playing in sports for women. The byproduct is that the integrity of women's sports is protected.
