I need a phone for a temporary office (about 4 months or so, and changing locations about half-way through).

I'm thinking of going with a VOIP provider (probably Vonage), since I can move the phone without any problems. (I don't need 911 service on the line).

I'm thinking of combining it with the Rogers Internet stick for Internet access, since that, too, is portable.

But does anyone know if the Vonage solution can be made to work in that sort of configuration? (I.e. the internet access is local to one computer, and the Vonage router would be hanging off of that machine).

Are there other solutions one might recommend?

how about magic jack
Good suggestion; I'll keep them in mind (I also like that they're available through The Souce by Circuit City. But I think they'd be better as a residential solution.

For my purposes, I'm interested in having the fax line which is available through Vonage.
