okay i figure theres likely to be some people here either in the communications field or just has some knowledge of such things.
there was a phone call from a male claiming to be 16 yo and wanting to talk to the 11yo of the house claiming to be his best friend. now this screams pedophile so loud at the time because the call came in at around 10pm and the real best friend was in the next room for a sleepover. guy then started giving attitude and lip when asked who they were and where they were from (the answer: canada....now that doesnt send up a huge red flag). long story short phone is abruptly hung up and *69 used but the result comes back as (000)012-3456. also did a call trace using *57 but i wanted some opinions on what would cause a number to return as the above? a call from a foreign country? maybe a voip call?
