Tech Questions in The Lounge (Shouldn't they be in the Technology forum?)

I know it's not my place to complain about such things, but I have noticed that there seem to be a lot of questions arising in the Lounge which might be better placed in the Technology forum.

Is there a reason people are adding tech questions to the Lounge, or is it simply a matter of people forgetting that the other forums might be better suited for such questions?
