The UK trial was a sham. And it wasnt really against Amber. It was against The Sun. The judge should have been recused for conflict of interest.

Dont forget her history of abusing other partners.
Johnnys previous partners never saw violence from him.
Amber is cluster B nightmare.
Johnny is lucky he didnt end up Phil Hartman.

Probably???? So you don’t know then.
Which judgment was this BTW? Clearly not the case they are going through now as no judgment was rendered yet.
Sorry I believe Depp’s version of the story. You can get all white knight and believe Heard but I don’t. Not at all. In my opinion, she is the abuser. There is too much evidence in the case.
Also, as DV survivor, I can see the evidence and read between the lines quite well. More so then those who have not suffered at the hands of an abuser. Survivors see way more then regular folks because we know. When he describes having to record her behaviour at night to show her the next day because she denies the behaviour - I know that feeling of having to do that. Of having to go through that myself and what it is like. The fear, anxiety, etc.

So sorry not sorry but I believe Depp 1000%. I hope she fall hard!
The 120-page English judgment is linked in 1 of my posts above.

"Probably" is used as a legal term of art and refers to the civil standard of trial proof "balance of probabilities". Depp failed that test in a trial last year in London, England.

He appealed that trial loss and lost in the English Court of Appeal. He is now trying to re litigate all the same issues that he lost on in England, in a whole, brand new lawsuit in the US. I assume he's doing this because he's an asshole.

English Court of Appeal laughed that argument out of court, huh?

Guess you're smarter than all 3 English senior appellate judges put together.

That is your assumption. I don’t agree.

Have a nice day.

Undoubtedly.
As usual, they investigate themselves and find they never do anything wrong.
Dont fret though. Even as guilty as she is, there will be no justice for Johnny.

On one hand, Gansterlicious teaches us Hommies over hoes
OTOH A Pimp Named Slickback says that is not a position he can sign on to. Money over a hoe, sure, a new pair of gaiters over a hoe, yes, a turkey sandwich with just tomato, yes, but unless a hommie is working them streets for him he ain't going to do shit for a hommie.

So I am conflicted.

I did not participate because:
- after he lost in the UK I thought there was probably compelling evidence against him
- when the proceedings started on this side of the pond I quickly came to the conclusion there is compelling evidence against her
- I now believe that she is a complete whack job and he did some pretty shitty stuff too
- am just not knowledgeable enough from a legal perspective to sort through all that dirty laundry and come to a conclusion on the legal merits - just know it is a very ugly situation and they both contributed their fair share.

While she hasn't finished her defense at this point its clear Depp has won in the court of public opinion. Which is the real victory here anyway.

There is a petition with over 3 MILLION signatures to remove her from Aquaman 2 and reshoot/CGI her out. Talk of a movie boycott. Meanwhile the Net is filled memes and clips of Depp owning the courtroom both on the stand and at the table.

Heard is literally the crazy ex many had, and lots of women see that now too. I think the BPD diagnosis is bang on.

It doesn't matter what gets ruled now. Johnny is going to get his comeback, and Heard is headed to the D-List, reality TV, obscurity and a life of bitter substance abuse and to be the punchline.

Can someone explain to me why this fucker and this crazy bitch are still in court?
Sure - this is not criminal court, it is litigation, and the USA is a litigant society gone berserk. While Trump can get away with extreme criminal behaviour, so far, some American somewhere would sue Christ himself if they thought they could get money. Blac Chyna just lost her suit against the Khardashians but they all spent millions in legal fees first cus that's what Americans do.

I didn't follow the trial in the UK, so I don't know anything about what they said at the time in that case.

I've been loosely following this one and my overall impression is this: they're both not very great people. So far, neither is winning and I think in the end no matter the outcome they're both really going to lose. Depp is pursuing this to hurt her, because other than Aquaman she's now box office poison. Depp still has Tim Burton movies to fall back on and probably has enough money to last him anyways. I wonder if Burton will give Depp a role in Beetlejuice 2 just to support him?
