Instead of taxing us more I think the solution is not to waste the massive amount of taxes already collected and ensure those funds are spent effectivly
Payng a teacher an averge of $83 K for 9 1/2 months work and gold plated benefits is not effective spending.
Increased taxes are out of the question as long as there is such obvious waste and abuse of the public purse.
BTW as long as you want to apply a sur-tax to support teachers , why not come down another $20K to $80K so that the average teacher gets to kick in some to help pay for thier excess.
Or would that level hit too close to home?
