I shake my head when I hear another kid has loped off her breasts, cleaned out her womb (most are girls), or run to get castrated in order to "feel" better.
These kids have no support, or if they do, school boards like the one that fired this teacher refuse to allow the support systems (we used to call them parents), to even be informed about the kids emotional/mental health problem.

Oh well, I won't be around when the number of births falls to a level unable to sustainable the human race, or whatever is left of us.

So we have to call kids Andrew instead of Andy, Johnathon instead of John, Daniel instead of Danny.

Or what about Tommy-John from down south that goes by TJ. Or Omar Jr who goes by Junior.

Do you know how many teachers call how many kids by different names?

If the school officially identifies the student as TJ, the student has the right to be called by that name. And yes, if the teacher shows any level of respect for their students, it is courteous to call them by their preferred name.

So you labour through your education, work for however many years in your career as a professional, acquire financial responsibilities to live your life, and you can have your income stream halted and fired over ...

...refusing to follow your employer's polices. Nothing more than that. If for some reason I took a job teaching science for an evangelical schools that required me to teach creationism and I talked about actual science instead, they'd be well within their rights to fire me.

p.s. In most cases, people can be fired with or without cause, as long as the employer follows the applicable laws about severance pay.

I do find it amusing that many of the names posting (and liking posts) against trans' rights are the same who cried foul about any push to be vaccinated. Their choice about the vaccine but these same guys should be in charge of what others do with their bodies or even as simple as how they want to be referred to.
My body, my choice if I don't want a vaccine that benefits myself and everyone around me, but you were born a boy so you have no right to alter your body to transition. It's your body, but it's only OUR (primarily males, white, christian, "straight" lol) choice as to what others can do with their body.
