Taylor Swift tells Montreal to go fly a kite over the poor condition of Olympic Stadium, she won't visit, this is pathetic and the fans pay the price for the Government's incompetence, they had years to fix the stadium and then Legault gave the LA Kings ( worth $ 1.7 billion ) a subsidy of $ 7 million to play exhibition games in Quebec City :

There is no fix to the stadium. Only demolition would do.

It was an horrible architecture from the start. Every time i go there im afraid it will collapse.

She could have booked shows at the Bell Centre if Olympic Stadium was not an option…but she didn’t.

I think the conclusion is obvious: Taylor is part of Leafs Nation and does not want to waste her time performing in front of a bunch of classless Habs fans.

Would have been great that she did FEQ on the Abraham Plains in Quebec City. Which regularly attract 100k crowd. Most beautiful view for a show...

Don’t get me wrong. The NFL is huge obviously and Kelce was known. I don’t watch football anymore but I knew of him and his brother through their mom’s fame on social media. Not from his football career though.

But Taylor brought even more attention to both. That is fact. I know you won’t like that fact because it appears you are an NFL fan but it is true. Just look at the viewership of the games that Taylor is at. Which is why all you NFL fans are pissy about her

A special tobacco tax was introduced in Quebec in 1976 to pay off the Olympic deficit. They finally did it in 2006, two years after the stadium no longer had any professional teams playing there. The deficit doesn't include repair costs for the stadium. It's built on unstable ground, (pretty much sand), so the massive weight of the structure causes it to sink into the ground over time, unevenly. .
