He is not getting a child care tax benefit. He as our head of government is getting an employment benefit that is a reasonable and necessary expense given the job.If you want to deal in pure logic, the PM is by default a high earner with an aggregate income of over 300k (and add his trust fund to the mix).
Not every high earner needs to be available 24/7. I don't need to be, I can go on vacation, turn my phone off after work. A prime minister can't.
