Housing crisis? Apparently not for this family, who’s been comfortably settled since 2011. Back then, they had a mere 12 children, now increased to 15. Clearly, they haven’t been idle. Five of the children have since moved out, but the family remains housed and thriving on the Dutch taxpayer’s dime.
De Telegraaf reports: “The Qasim family will soon face an uncertain future as Wonen Limburg plans to restore the two homes to their original state by re-adding the dividing wall. It is not yet known where the family of twelve will go. ‘If we stay here, we’ll have to split between the two houses,’ says Faadhumo. ‘If that’s not allowed, we’ll move. We’d prefer to stay here.’ Moving, she adds, would be ‘particularly difficult’ for their children in school.”
