Which one do you guys use and better product?
Quicktax or Ufile? Ufile is cheaper in term of price.
I was once a fan of Quicktax. Last year, I used Ufile, and will never go for Quicktax again. QT is too expensive IMHO for what it does.

Many years ago I was a QUicktax user. Then I switched to UFile, and loved it since. Last year I went back to Quicktax since I got antivirus software included (Norton, which was crap). This year, couldn't wait to go back to UFile, and will never go back to Quicktax. UFile doesn't open up all tax forms for you. Actually, after you enter your particular info, only the forms that you need get printed. ANd it's cheaper.

Update

I filed my taxes with Studio Tax this weekend. No problems at all. And I was pleasantly surprised to find there's now an option to save as a .pdf file. I don't think that was available in the past, and that was one of the downsides to Studio Tax. No longer.

Two thumbs up from me.
Hi Keeb, if you want to print just about anything to a pdf install CutePDF (free)

http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp

It creates a printer device that basically allows to generate a pdf from anything you can print.

<OFF TOPIC, BUT USEFULL>

Dunno why you wouldn't want to try Studio Tax then. Why pay for something that is just as good and free?

I suggest doing the online version as it holds your previous years returns and transfers any carry forwards etc. I use quicktaxweb

http://quicktax.intuit.ca/tax-software/personal-products/intuit.jsp

Also if you are a TD CT customer and use online banking you can get 25% off the fee by using their link in the "Important Messages" section at the top of the screen.

Be warned that all of these products are for more vanilla returns and shouldn't be used for very complex etc situations. Best to use a good tax accountant.

Best of luck and here's to a large return!

I used QuickTax for a number of years until one year where their loyal customer offer was 25% higher than purchasing the product from Staples. Fortunately at the same time I got the opportunity to use Ufile for free.

Both programs work well... have not tried StudioTax.
