I agree, HarbourFront had more space to walk around and truly some interesting sites for guys and gals.
Danforth is so crowded one can hardly move. While down at Harbour Front there were many different areas and quiet spots such as the Music Garden or even down on the Lake where the tall sailing ships docked.
Next weekend is the Taiwanese Festival.

Since we were @ Carribean fest last weekend, we forgo the hot & spicy.
We did the Dance fest first, a bit tame for us. With the cooler night & later hour, the crowd @ Danforth was totally ok with your's truly. Plenty of space for people watching, ie: eye candies. I avoid Danforth fest. for decades as I dread crowds & parking hassles.
I feel bad for people in neighborhood. Parking was a breeze as families with kids were leaving.
I was expecting heated people like with the Ex or other gatherings with crowds when people pushy/fights over silly things. I was sure we were going to get into a confrontation when a girl in my group commented 'more spaces', just as a group of teens, few in mini-skirt & heavy make-up thought my LF said 'more sluts' as they got out of their car in 1 of the vacant spots. The teens looked at me, I didn't react, they laughed it off.
We found $3 ribs, $1 Spinach pies, $3 souvlaki, $2.5 sushi, $2.5 Port. tarts. & some free samples. Only on few occasions there were lineups or rub shoulders with people.
Guess the message is go late & on a cooler night with less crowd & delightful experience.
