The pressure got to Trumputin. He must have been lit up with what was about to happen with prices in the US.

Even if the tariffs never happen, the relations between USA and Canada will take a long time to recover.

And we will remember who argued for the other side.

Yeah Trudeau did a good job on this one.
Right from his speech to this negotiation.
Doug Ford did good too to be honest pulling American liquor off the shelves, cancelling the Starlink contract and so on.
As Canadians we need to pull together when our country is attacked.
Unlike some quislings here who want to hand over the nation to the orange shit stain down south.

I have noted 3 significant "MAPLE MAGA" twitter accounts who have turned on Trump' and his tariffs in the past few days (TableSalty, Marty up North).

They all still hate Trudeau with a passion - some of the displeasure is justified, some probably not. But either way, I do respect them putting aside their personal politics against Trudeau and their right wing views, to use some common sense.and note the true source of the problem and the logical fallacies that Trump is using

Perhaps some of you on this board should take note and grow a pair as well and stop being Trump sheep. And actually be patriots of Canada.

I doubt this is going to help, he's not going to stop. In 30 days he's going to be back hitting again. This is not about fentanyl, only less than 0.2 % enters from Canada, I'm sure he knows that.

He wanted to believe he could annex Canada. Today, he said it would be the right thing to do, but his side doesn't have the fortitude to follow through and deal with the pain needed. This is why, as of this morning, he was open to negotiations. He was read the riot act today by companies and donors in a panic, and there will not be any future tariffs coming, is my guess. I just hope Canadians continue to look elsewhere and only try to buy Canadian.

Turns out all it takes to make Trudeau act like a real leader is a few well-placed tariffs. Suddenly, Canada cares about border security. Suddenly, they care about fentanyl. Suddenly, they’re throwing $1.3 BILLION at the border like they just realized it exists. But just like that Trump gives them 30 days to prove they can follow through before the tariffs hit again. Canada could have done all this years ago, but they waited until their economy was on the chopping block… Incredible. Almost like they never actually cared—until it hurt their pockets.
You have trouble knowing the facts, Mitchy. Do a Google search on the 1.3 billion to see when it was first mentioned. Yes, I want folks like you deported, sorry.
