If Quebec separated, Bombardier would move to Ontario along with the rest of Corp. Quebec. Look at just what threat of separation did.

I am not so sure. They just announced that the new C-series is going to be built in Montreal.

If they were hedging their bets, they would have picked Toronto.

I heard two other interesting comments on the subject of letting them go without privileges:

"Quebec would be the first third world nation to have snow"

"Quebec would be a banana republic without the climate to grow bananas"

As an outside both made me smile - can they not do the math on this, if they are currently a net benficiary from Federal canada at least financially where would that money come from going forward.

I am out of here shortly but will watch from a distance as this unfolds.
