As an aficionado of the oral arts, I like to keep things neat and clean so when a partner goes down for some BLS, they are not working on a hairy jungle. I have received numerous comments of appreciation from my partners for the fact that I keep "the boys" shaved and clean. That being said, the prospect of nicks and cuts while maintaining that area is always somewhat unnerving, so when I received one of those "micro-touch" personal groomers for Christmas and found that it worked exactly as advertised on unwanted facial hair, I thought I'd give it a try on my more sensitive regions as an alternative to shaving. The risk, I perceived, was that this thing would catch the skin on my scrotum and I would find my balls wrapped around it like spaghetti on a fork in a matter of seconds. :O
First impression - it TICKLES!
I went to work, gently removing the stubble that had grown since the last shaving. After working on one small area for nearly two minutes, I found that my efforts had been rewarded with a bit of stubble-dust on the head of the trimmer, and a very incomplete job on the area I had been working on. I don't know if the hair was too coarse, the skin surface not smooth enough, or what, but it just wasn't doing the job. And it tickled! Disappointed, I pulled out the trusty razor and finished the job properly. I may try it again sometime when I have more time to experiment, but overall, I was not impressed by its performance in this area.
For those of you that prefer a more "quantitative" review style, I offer the following:
Looks: 9/10 - slim and petite
Service: 3/10 - cuts hair, but not that well, YMMV
Hygiene: 10/10 - as long as you don't let anyone borrow it
Energy: 5/10 - as long as one AAA battery lasts
Piercings: none, thank goodness (on me, that is, after having used it)
Tattoos: 1 - "made in China"
Highs: Did I mention it tickled?
Lows: Didn't cut scrotum hair all that well
Repeat: probably not - but I hardly ever try something only once
