I got 8 out of 11. I cannot believe what people used to believe. One I got wrong was where influenza got its name. OK I got the answer wrong, but at least I would not believe that if I was told that.

Now, if I take it again I will get a perfect 11.

The funny thing is I do know better but find myself using a few of these (not all) with my children ie... feed a cold starve a fever, the bubble gum one and the tv. one. I have told them these are old wives tales though but told them there is still good advice in them and why. So yes Mother knows best.
