Here's an open message to all TERBites.

When you surf the web at an internet cafe, do yourself a favour and make sure you logout.

Sincerely,

Someone who shouldnt be posting on TERB.

That's kinda funny :p

A while back I actually had a guy contact me for a massage because whoever was at the internet cafe before him left the window open to my website.

I guess it's a little different if you leave a window open while you are actually logged in to a site! oh well, everyone makes mistakes!

This does not only apply to TERB, but all web applications / sites - MSN & Yahoo Messenger, etc

I was using a cafe in Banff last winter & when I had sat down at the terminal, someone had left their Yahoo Messenger logged in... I went in and changed his profile. When I was finished it appeared that he was trying to meet people in Calgary's queer community & his new pic was that of a flamer from a gay pride parade.

Also, when you sign into a website, never click the box that always remembers you!!

The scary thing is...if people forget to logoff of TERB, MSN, etc, think what else they are leaving themselves signed into...online banking, discount trading, etc!

No wonder the world is full of internet fraud, the world is so full of dumb people.

LMAO!

I used terb at an internet cafe while in Dublin a couple of summers ago. A couple of pretty hot Irish babes were at the terminal beside me and noticed the banners. I ended up telling them its my business, they just smiled...dont think they believed my story, lol. But I did make sure I logged off.

Well, since I am not able to opt for your massage sessions (at least now), I may as well start with the DVDs. What can I say, you are a doll :D

Enjoy LA !

We've had these threads before and people just don't seem to get the message. The attendant will tell you everything gets reset after your session ends, but that is usually not the case.

First of all when you're at a public computer, always take a minute to change Explorer options, such as setting the History memory to "0" days and turning Auto Complete off. Then clear History, cookies and files again after your session and re-start the computer.

Incidentally, I ended up registering after a couple of times at an Cyber Cafe when I surfed the forums after a previous user didn't log out. I had stopped reading TERB for about 6 months after the review forums went members-only, but when I accidentally saw it in the History one day and realized the log-in was still good, I spent several hours catching up. It happened again a few weeks later, and I soon decided to get my own ID.

I wonder how many of those Internet Cafes use keystroke identifier programs? Then, whether you log out or not they have all the information on what you tryped to log on in the first place...
