I would have to choose Batman mainly because growing up I didn’t enjoy any Superman movies . The Dark Knight Rises on the other hand is one of my top movies…
If you guys have any Superman movie suggestions lemme know and I’ll give it a watch.

I’m curious why you prefer TKDR over Batman Begins or The Dark Knight. That’s quite the rare opinion! People often view it as the weakest of the Nolan trilogy. Kind of like how people rank Return of the Jedi lower in the original Star Wars trilogy because of its goofiness.

I liked TDKR a lot. Anne Hathaway is sooo fiiine.

My personal fave Superman media are three animated films that adapt some iconic comics:

- All-Star Superman. A story where Superman is terminally ill and does everything he can to set the world right before his passing.

- Superman vs the Elite. An adaptation of “What’s so Funny About Truth Justice and the American Way?” Superman’s wholesome boy scout ethics are directly weighed against a younger edgier group of anti-heroes who see him as outdated. The story makes a compelling case for Superman’s classic brand of heroism.

- Superman Red Son. A fun elseworlds story. What if Superman’s rocket landed in The USSR instead of Kansas?

Batman is an alpha male. Superman is just a cuck in love with one chick.

I think I prefer TDKR over the other ones due to nostalgic reasons TDKR was the first time I was able to go to the movie theatres with just my friends only lol I don’t think I was even in high school when that movie came out.

I may have to give the trilogy a watch again to see if it really is my favourite lol.

I’ll check out out the superman movies you linked which of those would you recommend I watch first?

All three Nolan films are great. I have fond memories of watching TDKR in IMAX twice with buddies. I’m sure the trilogy would be a fun rewatch marathon.

How much comic-booky bullshit can you tolerate?

All-Star Superman is probably the most celebrated Superman story. It has some very silly side diversions. I promise that the core story is very compelling. And it gives Lois Lane and Lex Luthor a lot of great material. It’d be my top rec.

Superman vs. The Elite is more straightforward than All-Star. More digestible especially if you’re not going into these films with a lot of knowledge about Superman.

Why is that a bad thing that Superman loves one chick?

Has Superman had different ladies yes he had but 1 is his true love and that's Lois lane
Who has he had other than Lois. And does Lois love Clark Kent or Superman. Then again Batman road around with a young male in tights.

Batman is a chick magnet. Superman gets no respect, he was arrested for jaywalking the crowd yelled DON'T TAKE HIM ALIVE!

AI Supergirl a century ago, look who she ends up with.

I remember Melissa in that one scene in Homeland. They discovered she didn’t shave after an “interview “.

Oh Milly is cute. Would so do her.
Milly Alcock does enjoy a cool refreshing beverage so does Jason Mamoa, lets hope they don't get carried away. Woman of Tomorrow was a big hit for DC when it was published in 8 months starting in June 2021. Jason Mamoa is playing Lobo the Bounty Hunter, a role he's been wanting his entire career.
