I know it's still 0-0 but with NE taking careless penaltieson this Eagle drive, and NEW being amazing when they score first, I have a gut feeling if Pilly scores now that they will win the game.

They didn't. ;)

So far, Harrison has been everywhere for the Pats.

Ya I noticed, but the Eagles did scoreon that 82 yrd. drive. the Pats can't seem to get anything going on offence. Only 50 something yrds. on 4 (or is that 5?) possessions.

Couple of bad calls (or non-calls) on that drive... officials missed the timeout that Harrison was calling on the left sweep... Pinkston giving a little "Irvin" (push off) on the big play.... that's football, though.

Still, if the Pats don't find a way to move the ball....

(...it appears the running backs have found something...)

Neither QB has looked good so far, but Brady has been particularly weak.

Fun to watch these defensive squads play, though....

pretty tight game so far neither offence has looked impressive, but whats worse is this half time show yikes, can we please bring back Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas to shake her goodies, now that would be worth hoping for a wardrobe malfunction :)

I have to say - regardless that the network wanted to go "safe" with Paul - I have to say the Half-time show was amazing!

Too bad last year it wasn't Britney's boob!

"nobody wants to see a 40 year old titty! A 40 Year old titty is yo man's titty, a 20 year old titty is a community titty!"
Chris Rock.

LMAO!

Agreed. That last song with 80,000 people singing along was great. Had me singign to it also.

You must be a very young buck. The longer the show went the better it got.

Kinda nice to see Paul pull off some of the old Beatle songs that well. Cripes the guy is gonna be 64 in a couple of years.

Well it looks like the Pats have found something. 14-7 and quite the impressive drive. Let's see now what Phillyis made of as the trail.

Interesting start to Q3... the run is stopped, but Brady is looking better... and a brilliant catch by a linebacker to make it 14 - 7. You HAVE to love that....

Was referring to the song he wrote even before he was a Beatle, "When I'm 64". Sorry. Back to the game.

So, now the question of MVP comes up.... So far, I'd say Harrison with 7 tackles, a sack and a pick would be the right choice, especially since I think the NE defence is what held them in this game early... although an argument could be made for Branch (11 catches for 133 yards) as well....

Entertaining game, better team certainly won, and what else can you say about Belichek? Not much

and Deion Branch is the MVP, I would have said Harrison too...
