Suggestions for Seoul Korea

Hey All,

Am taking a trip to Seoul, South Korea and was wondering if anyone has any advice. I've been looking on the net and the only decent guide I've seen is this:

While this info is decent, it seems to indicate that although there are a wide array of choices available in terms of finding sex but the whole environment seems very fractured and somewhat underground. Plus the info dates from 2005 and I am wondering if much has changed.

For example, I can find very little about escorts in Seoul. I would have thought there would have been a host of sites available, but that doesn't seem to be the case. There is mention of Russian girls coming down to work as escorts, but no sites available to check the providers' appearance, rates, services, etc.

There are massage parlors but, again, sites which show rates, services and pictures of the attendants seem non-existent. And I would particularly like to know if an establishment is "foreigner friendly". I'd prefer not to window shopping thru the red-light district, so if anyone has suggestions or links or anything, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Sinjin

I spent 2 months in Korea about 2 years ago now. I wasn't in Seoul but was able to venture up that way twice during my stay. You won't have a problem finding action with either local girls or with the imported Russians.

There are plenty of massage parlours around and you will want to find the ones with 2 barber poles outside the building. One barber pole means it's just a massage parlour but two barber poles means it offers plenty more. You'll see what I mean when you're walking the streets as they are everywhere.

As far as the red light district is concerned you have to go see it. The women that work in the red light district are primarily Korean and they are all knockouts! The local Korean girls view working in the red light district as a good thing so it attracts the hottest women around.

As far as being "foreigner friendly", because you're Canadian you shouldn't have a problem. The American Military has put a ban on their GI's visiting any form of "red light district" or massage parlour type establishment. Because of that the locals kind of assume that because you're white that means you're American and they wont look at you. Make sure that everyone knows you're from Canada (even wear a maple leaf hat or something) and not only will you not have a problem, they will treat you with great respect as they love Canadians.

There is also a place they call hooker hill in Seoul. It's basically a lot of bars where you can go and pick up women for sex. It's located by the market.
