Suggestion on new Sunglasses

if u have a health plan that covers eyewear, just go to pacific mall and buy your sunglasses there. any of the optical stores there will give u a receipt to submit. just give them your prescription or they can make one up. pretty common place. in fact most of those stores survive on this. oakleys, serngeti, D&G, etc

I am a big fan of Maui Jims, light, tough and they stand behind them.

Serengeti is about the best driver lens but wouldn't be my 1st choice for mountain bike trails.

Agree. Dont think I would wear any expensive sunglasses mountain biking. The Serengeti glasses are lousy when in a brighter area and looking into the shade of a forest.

Think Costco also sell Maui Jims. Costco prices were lower even after buying the membership..

My theory on the pricing of sunglasses is almost a Murphy's law.

The price of sunglasses is in direct proportion to the likelihood of breaking them or losing them.

Therefore I spend as little as possible on sunglasses.

A while back there was a guy selling oakleys with a built in mp3 player here on terb. I'll bet they are still available. You will look just like Dawg the bounty hunter.
