Can someone explain to me the difference between a sb and a companion, other than being lower paid and spending longer hours as a sb?
Based on my experience I remember having over 10 sd and being selective as I’m still doing as a companion. Ahahahah
I think that is a major oversimplification. A companion has a great deal of overhead, costs she must incur that have to be subtracted from her bottom line. Very simply, It costs a great deal more more out of pocket to be a companion. A SB, whatever her allowance, takes home pure profit. To compare “hourly rates” just doesn’t work that neatly. Also, a companion takes on much more risk as her profession here in the States is illegal. A SB has no legal risk. Also, many SDs supplement an SBs allowance with gifts and experiences that definitely add value. Yes, some companions get gifts and experiences, but they tend to come from regular, multi-hour clients. Companions who see primarily one hour clients tend not to have these same level of benefits.
Also, it is much easier to become a SB than a companion. No website to set up, no ads to buy, no real admin work handling client questions and requests. You make it seem like SBs are somehow foolish or are being taken advantage of. No…it is simply another form of sw and a way for a woman to supplement her income as a consenting adult
